When Andy and Zoegot in touch to ask if I could shoot their intimate Harrogate wedding I was gutted to realise I was booked that day. However, the wedding they had planned was a humanist ceremony and they were planning to officially tie the knot in Harrogate a few days before and luckily I was free and jumped at the chance. Zoe runs a blog and content marketing service based around food and I met Andy when I was shooting Beer Yorkshirein Tapped, he was whipping up some tasty Pizzas so I knew their wedding was going to be a good one. The day was really laid back and intimate with just close friends and family attending.

There were vintage flourishes everywhere and the transport they hired was an amazing old Albion bus. Zoe had a lovely 1950’s style dress as did her bridesmaids and the bright colours really added some fun into the day. This co-ordinated throughout including Andy’s Tie and the flowers. After the lovely intimate ceremony at Harrogate Registry Office. We headed to Major Tom’s Socialfor some drinks and grabbed some laid-back portraits and documentary photos. Major Toms is a great relaxed venue for a wedding, good music and of course cracking beer selection made for a lovely day and I felt super lucky that I got to be a part of it in the end.
