Gibson Mill Wedding Venue Hebden Bridge

Gibson Mill is an old cotton mill nestled in the pennine wooded valley, and is owned by the National Trust along with Hardcastle Crags, the beautiful woodland that surrounds the mill. Located only a few miles from historic Hebden Bridge it’s a fair uphill trek from the train station but is peaceful and vast once you get up there. The ceremony room on the upper floor has lovely exposed brickwork and stone flooring which when the light pours in makes for a really bright and airy space. Gibson Mill is an intimate venue without feeling crowded and is a perfect blank canvas for those looking to put their touch on a venue themselves.

Once you have finished exploring Gibson Mill and made the most of the stunning architecture and natural textures, just outside the Mill is an area of water that reflects back the mill and is a perfect spot for portraits, and that’s before you even head out and start exploring Hardcastle Crags Woodland. Just a small walk can take you into deep leafy undergrowth or up a hill for some stunning views of the Calder valley and surrounding towns. It’s such a varied venue and is perfect for any nature-loving couples who love the outdoors and the opportunity to make a venue their own. If you are getting married at Gibson Mill or in Hebden Bridge and you want to talk in more detail about me being a part of your day I would love to hear from you
